NorCal 3rd Saturday - March
Another early 3rd weekend month - the 3rd Saturday is almost upon us.
The weather is looking to be beautiful (perfect?) so I'm thinking something with a nice drive afterwards would be fun. I'm awfully new 'round these parts so I'm at a bit of a loss as to the ideal location.
Auburn? Folsom to Placerville? Ione? Please help me out, veterans.
Signed: new guy, itchin' to get out there and drive.

Low 70's will make for an awsome Cobra Saturday. How about a 9:30 start from Mel's in Folsom again and then those that want to use the Cobra's as they were meant to be used will run up Auburn-Folsom road to Auburn, Hiway 49 over to Hiway 193 to Georgetown and into PLacerville.
Anyone wanting to continue can take 49 over to Plymouth, west to Latrobe road . north to El Dorado Hills and then home. Sound like a plan for short, medium and longer runs?

Rick - bummer.
Phil - ah, a little stop leak will fix that!
Murray - you don't mess around! Sounds like a great drive. I may have to stop for fuel. I better charge up the GoPro.

I'll plan on the breakfast. Can't do the drive, though.

Thanks for setting this up, New Guy.
That Murray does plan a good ride, one of my favorites
Bob, feeling much better and looking forward to the ride and breakfast.

It's going to be a maximum enforcement weekend because of St. Patrick's Day.
Just a word to the wise.
