3rd Saturday, June 21, 2014
During the weekly Saturday Cars and Coffee, a few of us were discussing 3rd Saturday, June 21. Attendance at Cars and Coffee was quite good with a good variety of cars and nice people.
Consensus would be for those who are early risers to attend next week’s cars and coffee which runs to 9 AM then drive to Mel’s on Folsom Blvd for regular 3rd Saturday breakfast, about a five mile drive. Those who just want to have breakfast could meet us at Mel’s at 9:15 AM. Should get us home before it really gets hot.
Info for Cars and Coffee, (do not really need to get there at 6:30 AM.)
Mel’s is at 13399 Folsom Blvd
Hope to see everyone next Saturday

Clayboy, it was good to see you and everyone else. I would like to try and find a spot for third Saturday in july breakfast if no one objects.

I would like to thank all those that made the Cars and Coffee event today--great turnout--I think I counted 14 Cobras.

Patrick,
I also like your idea of meeting at C&C and then heading to Mel's. See you bright and early.
John,
It was good catching up with you as well, I'm glad that you have the car back on the road. If you want to plan something for July it would be terrific... head on amigo!
Bob

Aw, c'mon Jim - just pretend it's fall and you're getting an extra hour of sleep!

Rob, it's just a good thing breakfast is at 9:15 rather than 9:00. 9:15 I can make; 9:00 would be way too early.

Jim,
If you need a few more minutes of sleep we won't mind if you are still wearing your pajamas.

It's a good thing, because there is no way my neighbors would stand for me warming up my Cobra every Saturday at 6:15am. This is why I show up at 8.

I was thinking of parking my car in the Starbucks lot the night before for that very reason.

That's good to know Bob. Of course, Friday nights I usually wear my Spiderman PJs. I'll have to instead rotate-in my Lightning McQueens just in case.
C. U. in the morning.

Jim,
Can't get up in the morning? I see that your original post was at 6:31 a.m. and then edited two hours later... is your laptop in bed?
See you tomorrow P.J.'s or not.

Count me in as well. I'll probably have a friend with me so there'll be two more for breakfast.
Thanks
