Looking for a Backdraft owner here
Hey there,
I live in Sacramento and was wanting to find out if anyone reasonably close by has one and could let me check it out? thank you in advance! |
We had a guy in the group a while back, but I believe he sold it. Give your post some time - someone will chime in.

You might have to make a drive to a nearby city or car show. I sat in, and almost bought 2 different Uniques, but flew down and back to BDR HQ in FL one day (3 hr each way) to check one out before buying and bought the one I went to look at. Nothing against the Uniques as one was as clean as you'll find and their kits are very well built, but liked the things the BDR comes with and the support that's out there (ie: jay @ vintage, James @ radical, and Brian @ BDR) are always helpful along with Everyone here.

I've found a few variations of the BD that really appeal to me. it's funny, at one time I thought I would build an FFR with the Billboard look, but I kept coming back to BD. I think the modern twist looks fantastic to me. I can appreciate other brands, but if I go the cobra route, I'll be a BD. |

Hi Guys. Before anyone points out the obvious fact that the OP is now 4 years old, I am seriously interested in a BDR Cobra and live in Colfax, just northeast of Auburn. Since Cruise Nights are not happening this year I joined CC to reach out to anyone in the Sacramento or gold country area with a Backdraft to mask up and see their car and get impressions and some recommendations. From cruising around the forum for a while now as well as the streets I see there are quite a few locals off the I-80 corridor and even some down south off I-5. Happy to hear from anyone willing to offer some wisdom.
