Default 2019 Shows & Runs

Good Evening All:

We ran into Murray today at Cars ‘n Coffee, and he asked that we post some information about the shows we have registered for this year. So here goes:

(1) We’re doing the Cobra Day show at The Cobra Experience on 6/1/19. We will be taking the delta route to keep the trip cool, and avoid the traffic on 80. You have to register in advance, but it’s easy to do on The Cobra Experience website.

(2) The second show is a biggie, and we would love to have some company. It’s a car show on 6/23/19 at Red Hawk Casino. They have the show in the parking structure so it stays cool, and ALL OF THE PROCEEDS GO DIRECTLY TO THE PAN CAN NETWORK, which is the organization funding pancreatic cancer research. You can sign up by going through the Dreams & Drivers website, or logging into the pancreatic cancer research website. The fee is $10.00 if you don’t want your car judged, and $20.00 if you do, and you can contribute money to the cause either as part of your registration or separately. Again, all of the money raised goes directly to research to treat this deadly disease.

(3) We’ve signed up to do Hot August Nights from 8/9/19 to 8/11/19, but we’re staying at The Peppermill because downtown Reno is not one of our favorite places.

We’re always up for runs as well, breakfast, Cars ‘n Coffee, or otherwise, so if anyone wants to plan something - or wants us to do so, just let us know.

Hope everyone is well, we’re finally down to about three feet of snow and were able to get the car out today for the first time in six weeks, and hope to do a lot more this year.

Happy to do so, and as far as we’re concerned a Cobra is a Cobra is a Cobra. Once the weather stabilizes I’m hoping we can get a breakfast run together, and if so we’ll post it here with as much notice as possible.
