Default NorCal Drive/Meet #3 to Sears Point was great!

Hey Norcal Cobra people,

Yesterdays NorCal Drive #3 was a fun drive and day at Sears Point/Infineon Raceway. Several people commented on how much fun they had meeting and getting together in Davis before hand, and throughout the drives and stops. The trip back to Sacramento on 121/128 past Lake Berryessa through the twisties was just a blast. Some newbies came along for the ride and it just fueled there interest so much they are looking for cars now too.

One thing we try not to get too hung up about in the NorCal crew is what type, make of car, or engine size you have in your Cobra... We had FFRs, ERAs, Uniques, JCF, and even let a few Vipers and Vettes join us - as long as they DRIVE their cars and like to have fun. Some new friendships and business contacts were made yesterday, and everyone seemed rather pleased with how it turned out. Tom Lucas from FE Specialties rode down with me and was very impressed with the comradery among this group. I agree, some of the nicest people I've ever met.

Since Pete Cala / ERA #004, and Allen Lung / SPF #678 were not able to make it this time, we've tagged them to help organize the the next NorCal Drive #4 after the first of the year - January or so?

Thanks Again to everyone, it was really fun. Don't forget about Monterey next year in August, I believe this will be a big one!

We all look forward to NorCal drive #4. (Hey, get going Pete & Allen).
