Phil-
The trip sounds great. I'm printing out the registration form as we speak. I'll be on the phone to the Best Western right after that.
As new Cobra owners every event is a new experience for us. This one sounds like a lot of fun. Are you planning to attend?

Jim,
Yes, I am. Just wondering what other Sacra-Tomatoe-in's are considering the trip.

Phil, Jim,
I'm considering it and do want to go. Not sure yet with a few overdue projects hanging me up. With all the heat lately and less driving going on, I've kind of lost touch with the local group but I'll try to see who else may be planning on it too.
Who else is going or considering it from our last drive we did?

Snakes to the Lake
We have been waiting to hear about this event since attending Reno. We had such a good time and met so many wonderful people, we can't wait to see you again. I have been out of the loop for awhile with numerous projects and work. How do I get the specs and reg form for the event. When is it? Hope to see all soon.

Randall,
Use this link: http://www.baccevents.com/
Once there, click on "Snakes to the Lake '05". All your questions will be answered. The when, the where, the why. There is even a fill and print registration form provided there. Very convenient.

Okay, I'm in. Tried to make reservations on-line - no luck. Called the reservation number to do it the old fashion way - no luck there either. Was asked to call back tomorrow and talk to Julie. Update to follow.
Looks like it's me and my son-in-law. We've both done the Gondola - and although it is beautiful, inspiring, and breathtaking.... been there - done that. We don't dancer together too well (he always wants to lead), so we'll pass on the moonlight cruise. Probably drive to Incline on Saturday for lunch at the Hyatt and dine Sat evening at the Chart House on Kingsbury Grade (had dinner there last week and it is still excellent).
Departure will most likely be noon'ish on Friday heading up Hwy 50.

This event is held in the fall and is organized by the Bay Area Club. Check there forum as details come available. If you frequent CC, you will come across the formation as it gets closer.

Uwe,
I would love to. It's a great drive up 50 and around the Lake. Just waiting to hear when it will be scheduled.

Maybe if?
Duane, do you have any pull with Tom at FE Specialties?
If I can get my engine installed by then, I'll be there for sure!
jdog
P.S. Finally I can play!

Did someone say Snakes to the Lake?
Yeah!
Snakes to the Lake was fun last year. Barb and I had a great time. We definitely want to do it again.
BACC also puts on Tour de Vin in the summer. I haven't done that run yet but it sounds great too. Maybe this year.
Jdog, that's another one to shoot for this year.

jdog,
I know Tom is busy, and he has been looking forward to getting your motor off of that stand and into your car for at least a couple of years now?
If I can build an entire ERA car from start to finish, after work each day, in 2-1/4 months, I'm confident that Tom can install your motor/trans for you with his eyes closed before STTL.

3 weeks!
Duane your right, Tom's pretty busy right now. But I pulled 'seniority' on a few of his up-comming projects, and he will do mine as soon as all of the parts come in. I will order the trans. & other parts that I need this week. And Tom will install everything in about 3 weeks!
Look out after that!

Sounds like a great event. Went to the website and there was nothing to link to the lake event. Would like to go. Will try back later
