Ione Sunday 3/25
Sandy and I are planning on a drive to Ione, and loop around and come back on Hwy 49 this Sunday. I called Rods & Rides in Ione where we have eaten before, but the number is disconnect. They use to have an exceptional Sunday brunch for around $12 if I recall correctly. Don't know if it has changed hands or just closed.
We'll probably head out around 9 'ish, down Sunrise from Roseville, across Folsom Blvd, to the Jackson Hwy. If anyone is interested in meeting up.... well, the more the merrier (and louder!!!).

I'm in. The earlier the better. If you're coming down Sunrise we can meet at Brookfields at 9:00 or earlier. I'll have a tag-along with me. My buddy needs a good dose of octane to make his visit complete.

We will be going past Brookfields around 9:20-9:30 (sorry - can't get the wife moving earlier than that on a Sunday morning). We can swing threw, or meet you down the road somewhere if you want/need to take off ealier.

It was good seeing everyone this morning. The little café's breakfast was pretty good, but I don't think it could accommodate our regular (larger) group.
Maurice - we zigged when we should have zagged..... swung a "U", but never did see you again. We followed 49 up to Placerville and came down hwy 50.
At any rate, it turned into a beautiful day after an iffy start. I also found out I no longer need a speedo..... the wife starts screaming on gueue at 100/mph....... every-time
See yall next time.
Main Street -
Maurice appears to be bored with Mr. Monster's fashion statement -

Phil,
Had a great time this morning. Thanks for letting me tag along on your drive to Ione.
BTW, Maurice isn't bored, he just isn't moving fast enough. Man that car is fun to watch go down the road.

Another great trip! What a great group of people to be associated with.
Great pix too! I bought a long-arm smoking pipe yesterday (it's a plastic replica to go with my fiberglass replica). All I need now are the goggles and scarf.
So...when's the next run?
