Default NORCAL Members for BACC Tour de Vin

Debbie and I just signed up for the BACC Tour De Vin again this year. Last year was a lot of fun. We got to meet a lot of new people from the Bay Area. Last year we had three Cobras from Sacramento/Yuba City caravan up together. We were hoping to make it at least that if not more this time around. I checked with the main Hotel-Murphy Suite Inn, and they had more than a dozen rooms still available at the discount group rate. This is an over-nighter on Sat June 9th, and Sunday June 10th, so we will have the oportunity to ENJOY some of the wine we purchase while keeping the roads safe. Here are some pictures from last years run:

Yes, even Elvis HIMSELF was there with us last year!
The weather is not projected to be 115 degrees like last time, so nobody will melt. Let's make a good NORCAL show of this! -John

Me too!
There, we have our contingent of three again.
It's nice that it's up this way this year.
Looking forward to it.

I'm doubtful, but hopeful. I doubt I can stay for the overnighter and hopeful for the drive.

At least you will be there. Good! Remember, It's $35 per person to register which includes the catered BBQ and the Prize fund (the prizes are pretty good). You will have to go to BACC area and download the regestration/liability waver and mail it in with a check-John

GREAT to hear that we're going to be joined by so many of our NorCal friends at this years Tour de Vin!!

The overnight is Optional, so even if you can't do the overnight don't let that stop you from coming to the Tour and BBQ........ (Mr. Monster ) This year's Tour is looking to be one to remember based on the location and number of folks that have already sent in their registrations.

Go to baccevents.com and use the link to Tour de Vin for event information and registration.

See ya in Murphys......................

I got my hotel reservation and have sent my BBQ check and reg form in the mail today. See ya there...it sounds like a fun time. I haven't been to Murphys in a long while...it will be interesting to see how much it's changed...if any.

Well, seeing how we live in Murphys, grow wine grapes, know every inch of Calaveras County, won't need a motel room and have a Cobra, guess we oughta sign up for the tour this year! We haven't been on a tour for three years.

Mike, contact Anna Davis at cwa@goldrush.com. She is the executive director of the wine association and is anxious to hear from you. We are both on the board of the Calaveras Visitor's Bureau so we have a pretty good idea of what will work. 22 wineries, 3 stop lights in the county!

I sent you an email today with more information.
