Caravan WSCB07/ Friday afternoon/ Highway 50
A few people talked about leaving on Friday afternoon going up Highway 50 to Reno.
We did it that way the last two years through South Lake Tahoe and Carson City with a short pit stop in Tahoe - about three hours total.
We could leave from El Dorado Hills Starbucks Town Center on Latrobe Road / Hw50 at 1:00 PM on Friday May,18.
Anybody intrested, let's start a list here.
See you
Uwe

We'll be there. 1:00 sounds perfect. Looking forward to it.

I'm planning to be there too at 1:00. I also had a great time meeting everyone at Mel's on Saturday.

Uwe,
Sounds like a good plan, however, we're headed up Thursday AM.

Sounds good, except that 1:00 PM is a little bit late for me. I was thinking about making a run out to Fernley before Track Day closes down, just to take a look and take some pictures. Since Track Day shuts down at 4:00 PM I figure I should get up there no later than 3:00 to get over to the track by 3:30 or so.

I'm flexible on time, but I can't speak for the others. Maybe we all could decide what's best for the group soon, the Bash is just around the corner.

Uwe,
Many of us work too, take a vacation day. WSCB will be 1/2 way over by the time you get there. Work will be there Monday.

OK, I understand.
I do have that day off though and my kid is 38 years old so... I'm outta here!
I'm hoping to be able to coax Barbara out of the house no later 9:00am. I know.. I know... good luck with that!
Anyway, we'll see you guys up there.

We may go up for the day on Saturday (early morning). Maybe start a new thread if you are interested. We are on the Hwy 80 side.

Hi guys,
Looks like #318 and I won`t make the Bash this year.
I added a couple ounces of hydraulic fluid to the clutch can for the hydraulic throw out bearing and now I have a grinding noise and have to use all the travel to engage.
Have fun and I`ll see you next month.

Sorry, but I just got my toploader rebuilt and out of the shop Thursday. Im going to test ride it for a while before I leave on Friday. I'll take it easy for a while going up and checking for leaks etc. I don't want to hold people back...see you all there.

Bummer, now we're not the all American Red, White & Blue Group.
We're still on for 1:00. It's been a major scramble to duck out early, but I think we're going to make it. Now to try to remember what I forgot to pack before we leave.
