Looks like my wife Tracy and I will be able to make it. Put us down for two. Sounds like a lot of fun for a good cause.

Hi Ed. Seems everytime it was breakfast weekend, something else was planned. Hopefully it will stay dry for the 15th so I can finally cruise with some other Cobra's. Hope to see you in a couple of weeks.

Justin,

Can you clarify the requirements for packaging? Does the plastic bag have to be clear? What type of box is acceptable? Any other "special" requirements?

Thanks!

The only real requirement is that the toys be new and clean. Having them in a plastic bag or a box(such as the original package box) just helps to ensure they are clean when we take them to the hospital. A clear plastic bag lets the hospital staff see what's inside. (ie: this is better than having a package come in wrapped and concealed. Don't gift wrap anything.) There are no other special requirements.

Other types of toys are also welcome. The lady at UCD Med says the kids love plah-doh for example.

Thanks!
Justin

Thumbs up

Justin,

This evening we told the the grandkids we were donating their stuffed animals to the children at the cancer center...... and they said great! So add two more for a total of five!!! This should be interesting..... if it doesn't rain and we drive the Cobra, I might have to a) install a trailer hitch or, b) stuff my bride in the trunk

Justin,

Plan on me bringing a total of 4 stuffed animals to help meet our goal. Any one care to meet my challenge on doubling up? All we have to do is use a few less gallons of gas.

Gary,

Maybe you ought to hit Tony A. up for some stuffed "Dingers". Just remind him he owes me a favor for some special treatment he received a few years ago for some communications related "stuff"...... he will know what I'm referring too
