Gary from Wilton may be there as well with his twin turbo FFR.

The weather looks great and we should have a nice turnout!

I'm meeting Tom Harding with his Cobra, so add 1 more to the tally.

Hoof Hearted 02-13-2008 12:16 PM

Another new guy Jerry is also planning to be there as well.

+1 more!

DTurnbull 02-13-2008 12:19 PM

What are we up to now, 26,27, cars? That's awesome!

Behold, The Power of Waffles!!!!!!

STEVE COURTWRIG 02-13-2008 12:19 PM

I called Cassidys. We are o.k. for Saturday. Next time we need to call earlier, wherever we go. They had 2 groups ahead of us. We may not be able to be seated until 10am, but we tend to talk in the parking lot for a while anyway. See everybody @9:30!!!

vanoochka 02-13-2008 01:29 PM

Waffles?!

San Jose is a hotbed of waffle lovers, so count on at least 3 more cars coming north on Saturday morning - Scott, Greg and me so far.

Looking forward to meeting you all then.

Chuck

This many cars for a Saturday breakfast is going to set a record!!!!

Duane, this seems to be about only 170 cars less the the Bash with a whole lot less work!!! LOL:LOL:

Hoof Hearted 02-13-2008 02:13 PM

I hope someone is bringing a camera to take some pics.

Who would've thought the humble waffle would be so influential?! :D

Calbullet 02-13-2008 02:38 PM

Jim , see you at BelAir about 9-ish

Mel

Vince,
You are definitely on to something. Sometimes the simplest things are the best.

Hmmmm.

The best thing about the NorCal Cobras group is we keep it simple and everyone is President. The most complicated challenge for us each month is getting the thread starter to include the answer along with the question about where to meet. It usually takes about eight fence-sitter replies and then someone steps up and suggest something, and we're on a roll every month ; weather permitting which seems to be about 11-12 months out of the year. Woohooo, and then we all recall why we live in NorCal as we take off every third Saturday towards some parking lot somehwere in NorCal. It doesn't matter where we meet or what we do once we get there. As long as the car runs, we get there with sidepipes on, and a parking space along with coffee and waffles when we show up, most can't complain. Works for me!

I know some of you always order the oatmeal, but come on... with this great weather, on a three day weekend, and an amazing turnout of folks from all over, in essence a celebration of everything cobraesque. Let's live dangerously... I mean you drive a cobra and then eat oatmeal? Go for the waffles...with a side of bacon! Oh, yeah! now were talking.
See ya on Saturday,
Bob

Sweeet!
Hey Chuck, what time do you guys have to leave to get up here for breakfast... waffles of course?;)

vanoochka 02-13-2008 05:49 PM

Jim,

Scott is setting the pace, so I'm guessing we will need to leave around 9:10 or so to get there by 9:30.

At that pace you'll probably need to deploy your chutes as you approach Stockton so as not to overshoot Elk Grove.
See you on Saturday.:)
