Default WSCB - impressions

Deb and I just got home and we both had an incredible time! Had a fantastic time on the drive, at the track day, the parties, and just hanging around friends. I was shocked to hear it will not be around in it's current form again. As I understood it, and correct me if I am wrong, it was getting way too much of a production with too much red tape a maximum of accountability of Dwane. It's too bad because it was the best WSCB I have seen. Good job to everyone that had a part in it! I hope that somehow it can stay alive because it is a much needed and loved event for Cobra/Daytona/GT40 enthusiasts. If it does boil down to a pilgrimage down HWY 1 or something such as this, which doesn't sound bad, I just hope that we would have enough time to plan for vacation time slots at the job to attend as we had for past WSCB events. Again, great job people! -John

John, I could not have said it any better. Dwane, I look forward to the drive down or up Hwy 1 with you and all our friends. It has been a wonderful time.

Gina and I had a great time. I would hope that the WSCB doesn't go away. Although, a drive down the coast on Hwy1 isn't a bad thing at all.

My first bash in 3 years of trying to get there. Everything was great and track day was extra great! The best thing was the people... Duane, John and the crew did a great job. Brent - thanks for taking time to post pics so quickly and for taking time to take the coupe photos for Alan, Brad and I. An outstanding group of people with some great cars. Can't think of a better way to spend a few days.

Hope to see everyone again soon!
Doug

Being my 1st Bash I cant compare it to any other and I couldnt conceive of having a better time or being with nicer people. Incredible! I am looking toward the future with everyone caravaning down Hwy 1 to Monterey at Laguna Seca. Hopefully, we can make it happen. Thanks to Duane, John, Bob, Linda all the instructors and everyone else who made this such a special event.

GREAT EVENT!!

I don't think that I could possibly say "thanks" enough to all those who spent their time organizing this event. Duane, John and all the others involved did a fantastic job. I left early (Saturday AM) because of family commitments, so I missed out on any scuttlebutt about future events. I do sincerely hope that we can do this again, but I fully understand if the organizers need a break. Honestly, I'd pay more, and I'd pay them to do it.

I look forward to this all year long, especially the track day, and couldn't think of anything I'd do to change it.

To the trackday instructors and officials...fantastic. I had a blast, and everything seemed to run very smoothly. I've got to get ol' 02 back on the track ASAP. I'm hooked, hooked, and hooked (I even went to the cart track and put a few laps in on Saturday night when I got home ).

Thankyou all, and hope to see everyone again soon.
