Ed,
Sorry to hear that you sold the SPF. At least you didn't get an insurance check!

There is a GRT Mk1 by Active Power on Cobra Country for only $49,990 .... complete! Built as a show car. With $100,000 you can buy this AND a used SPF? Two mistresses and the GTR is a redhead!

Ed,
BTW, you should take a ride to Denbeste Motorsport in Windsor.
http://www.denbestemotorsports.com/
They are a Shelby, SPF, and Rousch dealer, good people, and a Shelby Mustang (and more) collection that would make your jaw drop. He owns a Ford GT 40, SPF GT40, and a Shelby GT 40 if you want to compare them. He even had Shelby's personal #98 Daytona (with paddle shifters). Not to mention 3 NASCAR. They are the guys that drove up the 45' trailer at the Sonoma event in April.
The BACC had a great BBQ and private tour there last month.
Call and arrange for a personal tour.
And if that doesn't work, continue to Marin and visit F of SF.

Thudmaster,

Take a serious look at the Ford GT, there seams to be an abundance in my area with less than 1K miles. A dealer in port lavaca (a real crap hole) had a new one for $146K. They did not seam to appreciate like most thought they would. I bet you could get one for $120K. The beauty about the Ford GT is it is a factory built car meeting emmissions and from what I have been told (may be wrong) very reliable.

If I could find a Ford GT in the $120 with less than 5K miles it would be very temping.

Nahhhh... sounds like a problem that can only be cured with an FE in the next one or two. Maybe he needs an FE powered Cobra and an FE powered GT40. Hahahaha. That will keep him busy working on them for a while before he can sell them.

Hey Ed,
You should have just painted it red. Good luck with your search.
So who gets your Superformance cap?

Ed,
What about an NSX? Yes-I know it's Japanese, but it's totally wicked. Yes-I know I'm biases as I own one, but it beats the tune prices of an Italian performance cars. Keep in touch!!!
Lots of love,
Randy and Susan

Have you driven a Aston Martin V8 vantage >? nice bit of car.

Ferrari takes soo much devotion that your wife will feel left out and your bank account will run dry.

GT40 would be easier and faster.

Or how about a SPF with a ferrari 12>?
