'twas a good turnout, 24 cars or so... last one in the Cobra for me for a while so it was good to get out. Great pick and destination and breakfast too.
The country club idea works well. Heck, each time someone could just pick one in various NorCal cities all over and cover them all over the next two years... Great seeing everyone. DC

OK Ron, I gotta' ask,What happened to you after Dillian's? We saw the photo session with the girl kissing you, and the beginning of the drive you gave her and the part where you were heading back to Dillian's to drop her off ...but after...you disappeared? What's the rest of the story?

Bob, didn't you see the bulge in her/his pants when she/he got in Ron's Cobra? Clue!!! Ron probably got more than he bargained for and was ashamed to meet back up with us because he had to go straight to the hospital for preventative meds. You know how those New Yorkers are!
Ron, we really missed you the rest of the day, and you know your always welcome to hang with us, but next meeting , check with me ,Bob, or John before picking up strange chicks????
By the way....he/she showed up at Redwood about 20 minutes later and said "you were hot!" and asked for your number.....I gave he/she the business card I got from you at Dillian's..........You animal!!!!!

Just kidding Ron. She was hot and we were jealous. We thought you took off with her so we talked s**t about you since you didn't meet us at Redwood. "Love ya man!"
So....did you get her number????

Hey
Hey friends...
Well, doing better now, but it was dicey. i was suppose to be home on Thursday, and just got home this saturday evening just 5 hours ago, and thougth to check email real quick.
Surgery had to be done TWICE. 11 hours from the time I went in there till I actually went into final recovery. My hip was shallow, they installed the new replacement devices and when they put me into recovery, I was groaning of pain i guess, so they re-exray'd it. Well, the damn acetabulum socket popped out of the hip bone as I was coming out of anestisia.
So, they had to unstitch me, gut me back open, redislocate the hip, pull out the first set of devices, and try a different setup which could be srewed in deeper after a bit more machinging was done again...
Home now, in pain, with my left leg swollen about twice the size of the other, but i think I'm through the hard part now. They had me stay in the hospital a few more days after some complications with dual anestisia and based on what happened... my surgeon is top brass too... goes to show you all parts don't fit all situations. A solid 4-6 weeks of home recovery.
Thanks to all of you for your emails and PMs. Time for a Norco about now!

Duane,
Now comes the hard part, re-hab..... Before you know it though, you'll be up and running. Take it slow and easy and hope to see you soon.
Just hearing your story confirms how much I hate going to the hospital.
