Darn, I'm a new CC member and a new Cobra owner and was looking forward to meeting members of the NorCal group, but I've got a previous commitment in Las Vegas this weekend.
Next time for sure!

2 here also. I think anyway.
Jim, whereabouts are you in EDH? There's about 6 of us who live in the area. If you ever want to meet up, shoot me a pm.

Nothing out of the ordinary. It will be the first Christmas that my twins will sort of understand what is going on. Why do you ask? Are you planning something?

Hey there Maurice!
Yeah we'll put something together for December 20th. I'll post in a week or 2 with details.
Same rules apply, 3rd Saturday, rain or shine, Santa Hats & toys required.
I'll need a ride though since I sold my Cobra and I haven't figured out how to mount sidepipes on the ol' Sentra. Maurice, if you got an extra seat I have some extra ear plugs.

Little Donn is bringing some of those modernistic black/white Cobra design shirts over for a few of you guys who wanted to look at them. Also, I've been working on a new 2009 design version for CH1 too, just for fun. Doing a small run of them. Always good to have another Cobra shirt to wear. See my avatar, pocket logo looks like it.
Moved from walker to cane this week. Cabin fever setting in. May get out of the house soon for a short one.

Duane,
The Avatar/Logo looks great. Sounds like you're coming along nicely. You'll be back in fighting shape in no time. C.U. soon.

Hello,
Maurice,
You were correct. I was relieved to get out of the house for a few minutes and see everyone. Couldn't sit for long but seeing the group and cars was a nice distraction. Dan/Karen were gracious enough and help me get into their truck for a short ride there.
Jim,
Yes, FYI: I'm working with Donn and Jim at Burman Promotions to use the logo on some long-sleeve cotton t-shirts for winter. We'll use this for next year's CH1 get-together and just to make some stuff for now. Should have some shirts made up soon; just for fun, something to do...something else to wear. This is what happens when I get bored and restrained; you know...
CH1 2009 Update:
For those of you who asked about CH1, yes, the plan is to have it again next September (24,25,26), same place, same group. I expect a number of new/additional people based on who's been asking and could not go last year. It's a long ways out but mark it on your calendars. I'll send the official information about six months in advance so everyone has a chance to get a room in the discounted block again. Maybe an early notice after the first of the year for those who plan out vacations well in advance. We may have to do some kind of low-cost donation registration to pay for a few things if we are to do what we did last year, car stickers, smores on the beach bondfire, reserve the patio, trailer parking... it would be a simple online registration. If we do, I think we are going to limit it to 60max or so to help keep it somewhat limited edition.
Thanks to everyone for your kind words and support. Week by week, getting better now.

Hi Danny,
I'm in Ridgeview, up/down on Wilson off EDH Blvd. Wow, what an EDH contingent!
My Cobra is currently in the shop getting some work done on it; I'll let you know when it's back on the road.
Thanks,
Jim M
