Hi Harley,
It is very similar to mine!
1. Mine is a 2001.
2. Built (installed) by Top of the Hill
3. 460 with Tremec TKO
4. SB100
Get the SPF # and call Craig @ Top of the Hill to get the service records, his opinion, etc...
I've got 3x the mileage on mine and enjoy it very much. The 460 is not the most desirable engine for a Cobra, however it produces goobs of torque for very little money - I consider these 460 Crate motors from Ford Motorsports as consumables, however I've logged over 20k miles mine, and she still pulls hard, runs smooth, and gets reasonable gas mileage (12city, 20hiway). The only complaint about the 460 is that it takes up quite a bit of engine compartment and this makes changing plugs difficult (do-able, but the last two on the driver's side are accessable from underneath).
$55k seems like a reasonable "asking" price - you should be able to get for significantly less than $50k.
Good luck and welcome to Club Cobra!
Regards,
Randy...
