Kirk, sorry you and Karen couldn't make it on Saturday. It was a great time as usual. You guys have definitely been busy lately. Hope to see you guys the next time around.
The weather report this morning was no rain until Saturday evening, so we should have a pretty decend day. But just in case the weather gods are wrong, as they usallly are, we can always go to Mel's for breakfast as a backup. So if it rains, Mel's for breakfast, and if it doesn't, we'll stick with the original plan.
Susan, thanks again for checking out the site.

Mel's sounds like a good fall-back plan Danny.
Becca and I have decided to drive up Hwy 49 through Plymouth to Coloma...so rather than meet you guys at Starbucks we'll catch you in Coloma.
Looking forward to Saturday.
Bob

Mel's sounds good if things get ugly. Right now the weather sounds like a crap shoot, but it seems everyday the rain gets pushed a few hours toward Saturday night or Sunday.
This will be our one year NorCal breakfast anniversary. I guess I better not forget my one year wedding anniversary or..... I'll be toast!!! tom

Looking forward to mtg everyone
Hi everyone. Well, after 2 years of rebuilding after a spin-out & slammin it into a median, my cobra is finally ready for the road again. As long as the weather is good Saturday, my wife & I are going to actually try to make it out for the drive to Coloma with you guys. We look forward to meeting you all finally. John & Natalie Lee

Look at it this way Tom. You have eleven months to remember it. If you forget it just do like I do and claim oldtimers. Oh wait, I'm not married....am I?

Saturday drive
Elaine, the Cobra, and I are ready for another fun day with our friends. Just tried out driving the Cobra after having the wheels worked on. Having racing wheels is a real problem with pot holes, railroad tracks, or Latrobe Road!
Meeting location matters not..................we will be there. Alan

I seemed to notice that mustang used the brake lights a lot on the last drive. Those Cobras ahead of it must have held it back. smiley here

Hey
Alan,
Went out to start the Cobra for the first time since mid October 2008. No go on the first few tries. Pump was cavitating..., primed it and it runs. We'll see, I may be fair to partly cloudy about driving it at this point.
Ed,
I believe Vince sold his Cobra and bought a 2nd street rod. He's always been more of a street rodder and enjoying that. Haven't heard from them since...

Guys I spoke to Vince/Sally end of last year he did sell his Cobra. He's all street Rods now. I told him to come out and meet the Nor-Cal gang with one of his street Rods but we have not seen him yet.
Looking forward to dry weather tomorrow should be a great drive up to Coloma through the rolling green hills.
10am Starbucks - Town Center El Dorado Hills - Hey anyone heard from Uwe & Karen ????

Update: I think we should go to our back up plan and go to Mel's. I will still go to Starbucks and meet whoever doesn't read this. So Mel's around 11:00.
