Cobra Breakfast Sunday January 9th
Hi All,- We will be having our Sunday Cobra brunch on January 9th, 11 am, to avoid the New Years holiday crunch. It will take place in the little near-coastal town of Nicasio at a Restaurant called Rancho Nicasio. For those of you who need to rely on your GPS units, the address is 1 Old Rancheria Road, Nicasio, CA. Their phone number is 415-662-2219. There are only a few buildings in this burg so spotting the restaurant should be easy. If you go to the following web page there are directions to the restaurant from Petaluma, Novato, Lucas Ranch Road and Sir Francis Drake Blvd.

I'm attaching Paul's write-up (below) for additional details. Note he has attached their menu

I happened to be driving by Rancho Nicasio on Tuesday (the place Fred suggested for the January breakfast), so I dropped in to have a look. I've been there several times before for a drink, but never for food. It's definitely got character, with the animal heads on the wall in the bar. The restaurant room is nice (had never seen it before Tuesday). The menu is a bit limited, but plenty adequate. The drinks may be enticing to some. The have Ramos fizz on the menu, which seemed to be a hit at one of our breakfasts. It's a charming location, with the little church next door and the town consisting of 5-6 houses or so.
Notice that brunch starts at 11:00. I think this place will be good for our breakfast. It's a nice ride out there no matter where you are coming from. I like to go the back way through Petaluma (D street) rather than 101 to Lucas Valley Road.
