I have a feeling we are now approaching "Blowout Territory" and we'll do our absolute best to get everyone in. I'll check on overflow parking tomorrow if we should need additional space. Folks, this will be a beautiful thing!
Looking forward to seeing everyone soon, John :-))

... lets just take over the whole town and fill it with Cobras, that way it does not matter where you park.
John,
if the general public comes into town with cars other than Cobras, just kindly ask them to leave, thanks.

Sorry Karen and I won't be able to attend this year. We are Managers at Hot August Nights and will be busy at our event site preparing for the week and a half of fun there. Look forward to next year...hopefully not the first week of August. It was a great event and lots of fun last year...I know all of you will have a GREAT time.

You'll be missed Tom but have fun in Reno. Please PM me with your email address, if you don't mind, so I can add you to my Cobra Roundup mailing list.
Take care and talk soon, John :-))

Last Minute Info - WC3 Event August 2nd - Sonoma
Just a quick reminder to all Northern California Cobra enthusiasts regarding the WC3 event tomorrow.
John Marsey and I looked over the City Hall "horseshoe" at Sonoma this morning and all is in order. The baracades will be in place by 8am tomorrow and Paul, John and I will guide everyone in parking. Officially we start at 10am but we expect a few early birds! Don't forget your $10 per car parking donation.
I have been in touch with the manager of Murphy's Irish Pub and they will be open for a special breakfast just for us from 9:30 am on. The menu will be pretty similar with a few changes to reflect seasonal produce availability. For those of you who haven't eaten at Murphy's, you are in for a treat. I especially recommend the french toast!
Additionally, John has arranged for a local vendor to sell hot dogs and munchies nearby.
This wil be great fun! See you tomorrow.

Bob / John,
Thanks for setting this up for everyone.
It's saturday evening and I just returned from a fairly lively NorCal party and ran into several Cobra couples there. Depending on how much more the fun continued after we left, a few others at the party were contemplating on coming down. If so, we have 3-4 more cars added to the count from early this week. There are over 20 on the WSCG site coming, so maybe 22-23 coming from NorCal I would guess. Add that to your Bay Area, Central Valley, and North Bay list and that should give a rough idea I would imagine.
If its fairly cool out tommorrow, this could be a bit of a blowout!
See you then. DC

Ok Duane,
Sounds great. Weather has been my favorite summer pattern: cool overcast till 10ish then burns off followed by a nice breeze all day (should hit 80-82). Just beautiful. Yes, blowout :-))
See you in the morning, John

John,
Thanks for your efforts - that was a most excellent event. Also a very nice drive around Berryessa from Sacramento.
Looking forward to the next one!

Hey Phil,
I heard everyone had a good time going over Berryessa and I was half tempted to join the last group back just for the heck of it. You know when you come down the mountain into Napa, you're about 2 blocks from my house. We'll have to plan a visit next time :-))
Yes, it was a very nice gathering and must do it again next year. Always good to see you too Phil!
Talk soon, John

John,
Thanks for the VIP parking... it makes me feel special...
We had a great time on Sunday.
I never did get to see your car/engine/suspension etc. It has been over a year now...since viewing it in Auburn.

Anytime Ron! That's because you are special :-)) I kept the hood down, pretty much all day, trying to be more social and less of a gear-head. I enjoyed that trip to Auburn too.
Sunday was a fun day and good seeing you again. Must do it again!
Talk soon, John
