June 7th Brunch and Tour
Well we had a great and very well attended June brunch today at Murphy's Irish Pub on the Sonoma square. It was really nice to see so many happy Cobra folks all having a terrific time. We had at least 35 or more in attendance (did not get a perfect actual head count as people were moving about a lot) and there were at least 20 cars. Several of our East and South Bay brethren were on hand to enjoy the day with the NBC bunch and that's always nice to see!
We had a nice driving tour after the eats which took over a variety of road types from the corkscrew twisties of Trinity Road to the long sweepers and scenic vistas of Silverado Trail.
We ended up by "taking over" a nice Pizza place in Calistoga where we had much deserved/needed refreshments a bite or two and eventually said our goodbyes before taking various routes back to our various "home ports".
The weather was PERFECT and I think/hope that everyone had as good a time as Jacquie and I did. It was really fun, and good to see everyone.
Thanks to all who came out to play, and to those who missed it, we'll see you next time I hope. This was definitely a good one!
