Turkey day went well for the Fletcher family. Twenty plus pounds of dead bird baked all night at a low temp for an amazingly succulent bird. The bones, lips, o-ring, skin and other detritus are all on a slow boil to extract maximum flavor for my infamous soup stock. Just finished off the 2008 stock a couple weeks ago. We decided not to pig out on desserts so naturally my daughter won a huge tiramisu, my broker dropped off a pumpkin pie and my son got an apple pie from his boss......... Damn but they're good too! We won't be cooking anything until after Christmas at this rate of consumption. Happy Holidays to y'all.
