Interior shop in Portland area

Does anyone know of an interior shop in the Portland area? I have a B&B kit, but the carpet and other pieces that come with it are poor quality.

Thanks for an leads, Jim

They are a dime a dozen here... I can't ever remember seeing one in Portland, though. What part of Portland are you in?

milwaukie/gladstone area, but I would go anywhere in the Portland metro area for quality work at a good price. I sent some emails to ads on craigslist. We will see what I get back.

thanks, Jim

Try:

He should be able to fix you up.

You might want to call Gary to see who he uses.

I have known Gary for over 20 years and he does great work on Mustang restorations, but he farms out the interior work.

Guys Interior Restorations. Absolutely the best, and probably the most expensive. He did my whole interior, including mounting top, making and mounting tonneau, carpets, and doorpanels. He covered the dash and glove box door exactly like an original 289. To do the glove box correctly is very tricky. I have never seen another replica done correctly. ERA's are horrible (imo). There is a fellow here in Portland named Jim Feldman who has probably the best collection of original AC cars in the world, including an AC "Autocarrier"-the three wheel thing that started AC around 1900. He uses Guy exclusively. I bet you didn't know that Portland is the epicenter of original AC's.
Good luck in your search.

Thanks, but I have gone on one run with a NW Cobra club to Mt. St. Helens and I did not enjoy it. Everyone left me in the dust and were driving so fast that other drivers called the police and a whole line of Cobras was pulled over. Even the sag wagon was drifting thru corners behind me and I know he was upset that I wouldn't go faster.I think most of you take way too many chances. Just cause a guy has big muscles doesn't mean he has to pick a fight with everybody he meets. My favorite run is up the old gorge highway in the fall with my wife, doing about 25-35 mph.

Call *****in Stichin’s phone# is 360-608-1977. The owner is Robin Baumann. She did their Mini Cooper that took a bunch of awards at the Portland Roadster Show a couple of years ago. I know her and her husband, they are good people and real car nuts!
