Track day at pac raceway
For those of you that like to push your car to the limit from time to time listen up. There is a track day at Pacific raceways on July 15th put on buy the Mustangs NW car club. You have to be pre-registrered to be sure of a spot. They are only taking 80 cars. Go to Mustangs NW web site and click on the banner for a pre-registration form. Madog

I have still not recovered from my last track day. It was the most fun and the most expensive day of my life! The best saying I brought back from the experience was from one of the guys at the drivers meeting. He said " Nothing that you are going to do at the track day is going to add value to your car". A very wise man indeed.

It's like driving it on the road, you always take chances, I would rather take them on the track where I usually know people have had experence. I'm not always fond of open trach days where the experence ranges from none to race experence.
I assume that the track day will be a lapping day with various levels of experence?
They have improved PR as turn #1 has been totally redone, new pavement and new banking.

There are three classes. I plan on entering the slower class simply because I am running street tires and these cars need a sticky tire to lay down a good lap.
Besides we are just out there having some fun and going fast.

My last track day cost me a motor, plus a new 55" TV,remodel the Living room and a few other things. I have learned with these cars any mods and you can triple the price after the Wife gets her mods.
It was a very enjoyable day even if the cost was not.
