From the rumors I heard, I think they are referring to Jake.

Andy, I know its probably on another thread, but where the hell do I send the check.
And how much for driver and a passenger, if I get lucky.

One continuous thread would be good.
Thanks for taking this project on.

Tim,
The check should be made out to Sorven Guild. Rider price is 25:00 day or 40.00 for the weekend. You can pick up a day pass at the ticket window just to right as you enter the car carrol. Tim we would like to make a run up your way this summer Mt Baker sounds good. Gary e mail me and said he would be in townthis week to see his dad. We where hoping to have lunch but i havent heard from him yet.

Freds right,
Its not all Jakes fault. I was caught in radar at the end of the stright at 156mph, turning 6,600 rpm in fourth gear. That flat out for me. Fred was right on my tail. My keys where taken and my Cobra parked for the day. The kid riding with me said how fast are we going I said I dont know I"M looking at the road. it was fun. I understand they dont want anyone to get hurt. I had back way down in the turns.

Ouch! My guess is the stunt I pulled outside the gates three or four years ago, never made it to the officials. Now for what happened inside, that is another story. That being said...I will be on my best behavior this year. My $10,000 track day has curbed my neeed to go hog wild.

How does this work on the track? Anyone with a Cobra (or suitable wheels) can take a few laps? Are there any driver experience requirements? When I looked at the website there were driver qualification requirements. It sounds like a lot of fun, but maybe too much fun. Oh my!

Ward
This is not a free for all and you are not on the track alone. If you can drive your car to the event and in the Car corral you can drive with the other drivers. This called a parade lap, you can't pass the lead car or in fact any other car. They tell everyone not to fall back and then give it WOT but we all do. Watch the car in front of you and you will get the idea.

As a kid, I can recall feeling like I had to stand on the gas pedal to get every ounce of speed out of my 289. I've only had the pleasure of owning a Cobra for 77 days and I have not found the the hard stop of the gas pedal! WOT is something I've yet to experience! I can't wait!

I'll do some planning and get back with you. The June 15th race looks interesting too. I'm probably not ready for that. I've been to Skip Barbour school and a driving school in Sonoma so I'm not totally inexperienced. Maybe a little conservative, yes!
