Rain

It rained hard this morning here, still light rain so it was a good thing to cancel.

I'm sure it rained at Mt Baker, but on the Southside of Bellingham nary a drop of rain Sunday! I may run up to Mt Baker this Tuesday as Dad is headed back home Wednesday. Anyone up for Tuesday?

Hope you get up to the MT. on Tues with your father it looks like the weather well be great. I think its great you have your father to do things with. I lost my Dad in 1963 and think of him often, how much he would have enjoyed a spin in the Cobra.

Andy, We had a great ride up to Baker. Dad is almost 90 and had a little trouble getting out of the Cobra. As you say, the weather was perfect and it was an awesome ride today! Dad used to ride motorcycles and enjoyed the trip up, but the panorama of Artist Point really amazed him. I was a little surprised at the stress on the cooling system of the climb. The oil temp got to 105 C and the water temp was 95 C. Neither of which I had seen before. It was warm at the top. I can't wait to go with the club in September. Have you picked a date?
