Run to MT Baker update

Club Cobra gang.

I well be going to Bellingham on Sat the 21 to the Air and car show at Bellingham Airfield and staying over night in Bellingham. I well meet who ever comes up on Sunday -at Denning on Highway 9 . give me a time.? The south end drivers could meet up at the Costco parking lot in Woodville and then get on Highway 9 which is just north of the Costco lot. and then drive to Denning, this is a very nice drive thru the back woods and keeps you off I=5. I well drive back with the group. So far we have Greg,Ward L,Perry.,Tim Eileen? Let me know if this works for you guys,? Perry,Greg,Andy,Tim,Ward L well be coming from Bellingham. Weather?

Well, It looks like some friends want to drive up to the Air,Car show at Bellingham. So I well stay in Seattle with the Cobra Sat. night and meet the others at the Costco parking lot Woodville on Sunday mourning. We well have to come up with a time at Costco and Deming highway 9? Perry I could call you and meet at the Airfield that would work best. What time at Demming? Jim,Sue are you in town? Also Larry and wife who went to Sequim with us can you go?.

I'm thinking of making the Mt. Baker run-is anybody coming from the south and wants to meet somewhere's-I'd probably take the Bainbridge ferry to Seattle and I-90. Then head north up 405? I'm open for suggestions too! Map quest is telling me that taking the Kingston/Edmonds ferry is shorter=more options-

For the folks coming up on Sat for the show, and trip to Artist point,on Sunday. I can throw a Barbeque Sat Eve, if you like.

I am a bit confused about the what and when of this but....
I live in Lake Stevens, right next to Hwy 9. I would love to tag along if folks are headed north on Sunday.

Perry, the show is Sat, the run to Artist point is Sun.
I hope you can make either or better yet both.
I can meet you either day and help get you there.

Hi Tim,
thanks, I'll just do sunday.
We'll have to see where and what time the group is meeting sunday morning.
If the border lineup isn't too long we'll be there but if it's 1 1/2 hour lineup then we'll pass.
Will look for more details on the meet.

I talk to Tim and he going to call you and Ward L,Greg about meeting on the North end of Bellingham. Tim did not think we could make Demming by 11am more like noon from Woodvillie. Lets have lunch and run up to the Mt. from Demming

Yeah, we got that weather thing coming through. It has been perfect for a week and they are talking 30% chance of rain Sat and Sunday. Looks like maybe only the first half of Sunday. At least when it stops it will be beautiful and clear!

Well hell it looks like a 40% chance of rain on Sunday, I well be there on sat. at the Air show. see what it look like . I could call Tim Sunday mourning and see if its raining, there or here.

Hi Andy,
It looks like 60% chance of rain up here, probably more at Mt Baker.
I'll post by 7 AM Sunday if I'm going and say what the weather is like.

It is starting to get windy here so I guess the front is coming in tonight, we can try for another time.

Well I have call the MT Baker run off due to weather, lack of interest, and also my back has go out and I cant walk. The guys where thinking near the end of Sept we could get a run in up North.

Thanks Andy for your efforts to try and get this organized-can't always get the weather to co-operate though-take care of that back and let us know if there's a "make up" run planned-I'm up for it. And I just got home from the Vancouver run about 6:00 pm-We hit rain on the canal and it did not stop-these cars make a nice rooster tail in the wet stuff-I feel bad for the rest of the group heading to Sequim cause it was coming down hard-I think I might have angered the rain gods when I smeared the Rain-X on my windshield friday night-ooopppsss
