Default Griot's Garage Car Detailing Clinic

I spoke to one of the managers at Griot's Garage today and he mentioned that they hold free detailing clinics. He said that they are great for clubs and that we can do it any Sat. and it works great to combine it with a Cars and Coffee Sat.
How many folks would be interested in participating in a clinic? Did I mention it is FREE? He basically will go through all the needed steps to get that show car shine using all of their products. He has a great amount of knowledge and I have picked up a few tricks from him and I am a long time waxer. So if you are into detailing or want to learn please sing out. I will pick a date and schedule it if there is enough interest. He even said that if we wanted to bring meat to grill we could BBQ in the picnic area and they clean the grill when we are done....What a deal!

Default Griot's car care clinic

Jake:

Count me in, and possibly another SPF owner/friend if I can pry him loose from other pursuits.

I'm in also, depending on the date. I see they're having a Caffeine & Gasoline on Feb 5 (http://www.griotsgarage.com/category...ts+calendar.do).

Sounds cool to me Jake. Most any Sat would work.

I don't know about tips on caring for black. You keep your paint looking mile deep!

Meguiars does Saturday detailing clinics as well... at their corporate HQ in Irvine, CA... It's a good time... plenty of coffee & doughnuts in the morning... pizza for lunch... and lots of good detailing tips & hands-on time for the uninitiated. These clinics are great for those who want to keep their car looking its best.

Thanks for the info. but for us in the Pacific Northwest (the section where this thread is posted) Griot's is approx. 1150 miles closer than the Meguiars clinic.
