Thumbs up My Superformance Cobra For Sale

It is with mixed fillings that I post this car for sale. I have owned SPF #390 for the past 8 years and have made lots of great memories with it. It has travelled the country on many club trips. The car has 18k well cared for miles and I had a custom built stroker 501 BB Ford built for it 3k miles ago(550hp/600ft.lbs.Tq.). At that time it got a new clutch and new plugs, wires, and hoses. I am offering it up to the NW folks before it goes on Cobra Country for sale. It needs nothing but a new home. I am selling it because I purchased another SPF a few weeks ago. Price is $44,900....Please call or PM me for details!

Thanks, Jake

Have you not heard of mystery John? I have been spending all my time working on the new car and it is in lots of pieces on the floor of the shop right now....Long story. What I will tell you is that it is the same blue as my old car with Wimbleton white stripes. It has a stroker 427W and has a few cool options like a hardtop and A/C. That is all you get for now.

I bet that Superformance has about 24K miles on it and has a/c vents coming out of the trans tunnel. Might have a scratch in the drivers door jamb too. I'm just guessing though.

That is the one Dana...It was also in need of a bunch of TLC and a new clutch!

Don't worry, I won't be leaving the top on it. It will be nice for winter drives however.

Still looks like a pretty good deal. A/C would be a nice option in the summer months, but not crazy about the underhood "look".

Could you be a little more specific?

The new car does not have a rock chip in the windshield that I will have fixed. No rock chips on the front end though and the one on the door rubbed out. It did leak like crazy and I am in the process of fixing all the leaks and cleaning it up to look like a shiny penny. I am now starting to wonder why I am selling my other car that needs nothing and is show ready.

Jake, congrats on the new SPF! Is that fun or what?? Let's just make sure she's running good for the summer runs. It must get warmer over there on the peninsula than where I live to require AC! Can't wait to see it.

Thanks Ward. I would not spend the time and money to put AC in living in Washington, however I can think of a few trips where it was so hot it was hard to breathe. In that case it would be a nice item. Now how about heated seats? It is tempting.

Wink Old Guy !

Nice ride Jake!
A top and A/C, kind of sounds like my ride, haha.
I remember the trip when the Mrs got too much heat, Bev was happy we had the top, it's 20* cooler with it on, only 85 instead of 105!
Perry.

I just finished installing heated seats and these heaters are amazing-been driving in mid 40's temps and just with the lower heater on (seat or seat and back settings) I only needed a light coat-(the back on too had me sweating)

What brand of heater did you go with? I'm thinking about having them installed in mine.
