Bellingham Ski to Sea Grand Parade
I have a spot in the Bellingham/Whatcom County Ski to Sea Grand Parade on May 28th and am looking for 4 other Cobras to join me. We are in the parade in support of a non-profit Rebound of Whatcom County. Here is the link to the parade:

I would like a commitment by May 5th. I think my entry was accepted because I said I'll have a bunch of cool guys with cool Cobra's like mine to join me. Check with your accountant, but you probably can deduct mileage as a donation! |
Ward: Mine's going to be delivered this week. I'm interested. remorton@yahoo.com

Great! Welcome to the Club! Can't wait to see your beauty. I sent you an email.

It's really hard to commit considering the weather this time of year.

I've got the parade entry approved and need to know who else is interested. Understand the weather would be a show stopper. I will accept entries contingent on good weather. Let me know you are interested, fax (360-371-1630) me copy of your insurance (Required by the parade people). You can come if the weather is good, stay home if not. Thanks!

My wife pointed out to me last night this is Memorial Day weekend, and that we have other plans.
Besides, when was the last time we had nice weather on a 3 day weekend in Western Washington. :( |
Ha, Ha... Looks like it is just me! I was thinking of a BBQ afterwards and dreaming of a driveway, MY DRIVEWAY, full of Cobras for the BBQ. Oh well, still accepting late entries and remember it is a tax deduction because it is for non-profit. OK if you can't come because of rain, but let me know no later than May 22.

The wife and I were in the Bellingham Ski to Sea parade today. We had fun, but not sure I want to do it again. There was a lot of waiting for the parade to start and when it finally got going, it went so slow....I think I still have a clutch left, but I'm guessing I took some miles off it today. Good fortune there was a slight down hill most of the way. I was worried about the engine temps but both oil and water were right at 95 C or 203 F. It sprinkled a little during the wait time, but nothing during the parade.
