Cobra looks great, but man, that looks like a tight squeeze for you with the hardtop on!

Wrong way to get in or out of a Cobra
That is absolutely the weirdest way to get out of a hardtop covered cobra.
Correct way: Stick your feet out first, then turn body clockwise into the car then back out ass first.

Great looking car! I thought it was tough for me at 6' 5" getting in and out of my car with the top on! Of course with no drivers seat it does drop me down a bit..... I find it easier to push myself up and out with my right hand on the transmission tunnel. I can not comprehend getting out rear end first!! The top is a great addition to my car though and couldn't imagine not having it!

Except for the tiny little motor, it looks the same.
I know with a top on, I might be able to get in, but no way would I be able to get out, especially if the pipes were hot.
And the car looks great Jake. Congratulations once again.

Jake, maybe I missed it in a previous post, but what's the story with duct work underhood? Didja install central air conditioning or somethin'?

Well, I tried about every other way of getting in and out with the top on and this appeared to hurt the least . I will have to keep trying.

The car has air conditioning installed. That is one thing I need to clean up. Any clean ideas of how to make it look nice? Not a fan of the 6" dryer tube and the heat mat, for the record.

No offense, but you look like "Grape Ape" getting out of the car! It reminds me of myself!! AIR CONDITIONING, WHAT?? I thought that was a modern "Flux Capacitor" or something. It might be hard to clean that up. I think that's a first for me. Now if I could get something that removes the fuel, oil, exhaust fume smell off of me so my wife will get near me after a drive. Now that's something I'd look into!! Car looks great! Matt

They are chrome plated vintage wheels with 315's. I will be putting the 335's on when I am done wearing these out. The bad news on the 335's is the cost. The 315 Sumi's are a tad over $100 each and the Pilot's are almost $1000 a pair. The 335's do fill the wheel well out a little nicer in my opinion.

The car looks great Jake. I hope we can have a few local cruises this year so I can see it up close.

Some custom aluminum cover plates would be my suggestion. I know a guy that has a brother who's cousin's neighbor works at a place that can get and fabricate aluminum. He made many custom things in my car.
This is the enlarged footbox:
With the cover on it (to match the driver side):
A shelf behind the seats:
Let me know if I can help with it.

Congrats
Hi Jake,
nice ride!
You remind me of Bish getting STUCK trying to get in my old cobra, hahahaha.
The roof makes a world of difference in the heat, 20* cooler inside.
The polished wheels are great.
Perry.

Looks great Jake. If only the weather would get better. You getting out of it reminds me of trying to get out of a GT40. That's why I sh1t canned the idea of owning one of those. These old bones don't twist like they used to.

Jake
I know what you mean about the cost for the 335s , they are pricing but man they definately fill out the wheel wells in the rear a lot better than the 315s , I have had both , take a look at my SPF in the attched thread

By the way, I see you have the Blaster coil mounted diagonally---isn't this going to cause the coil to burn out and fail? I believe it is liquid filled and needs to be mounted vertically.
Anyone know better?
Just trying to save you some later frustration...

You are correct. I will change out the coil. It has lasted that way for 24,000 miles and counting though.
