Default Another WA title question

I was just reading the Washinton regs on titling a kit car and there is a RCW that stipulates that they will use the manufacturers MSO as the model year.
Does anybody know what the MSO's say from ERA...can you tell them to print one of the appropriate Shelby model years?

You can have your car titled as the year that it replicates, 1965-66. If you do it that way, you can run collector plates or year of model plates so you won't have to run a front plate or have an annual license fee.

That's what I did in WA state. Get collector plates, no tabs and no front plate.

My advice is register it as a Custom Vehicle under the new SEMA bill 5585 not as a kit vehicle. As others have said you get a 1960's title and one time one time collector plate. Otherwise you have to get smog tested every 2 years under kit vehicle. Read more under '5585 retitle success'.
