Guess it's that time again. Hope you guys can make it. All the others have had pretty good turn outs. Hope to see some familiar faces again!
Saturday, Sept 29.

Can't make it again. My wife and I are fulfilling a bucket list item. We'll be at the Ryder Cup near Chicago.

Given my 429 is up and running by then as planned, we will be there. Per Scotty at RHP, I will have everything ready to make the Snohomish car show on Sunday the 30th so this will be an excellent trial run to North Bend.

Ok, everyone that has been to my place probably knows about the "Cleco Game".
We do it everytime with some minor variations.
Here's the deal this year: I'll have a number of gold and black clecos in a jar or bowl.
Instead of guessing a number, this year you'll be guessing the percentage of gold verses black clecos.
When you write your best guess down, write it down to the 100ths.
Example: 54.55%
There shouldn't be any ties this way. If there is, I'll also have you write down how many gold clecos there are, the closest will be the tie breaker.
The prize: We'll go for a flight in the Skybolt. We'll do as much or as little as you care or can take. Much better than a roller coaster!!
Here's a sample:

Is the red one a Pitts Special? I kinda remember a Pitts and Smith miniPlane from my flying days. One seems to have the struts in front of pilot.

How great would that be? The last foller coaster ride I had was a ride in a F101B when the Air Guard was at Geiger Field in the mid '70s.

They're both Skybolts. Mine's the green one, the other one belongs to a friend in Arlington.
They look like a Pitts because they're basically a 20% scaled up Pitts S2B.

My Cobra's not gonna make it. Delta ground the camshaft wrong so I've pulled it and shipped it back for re-grinding. Looks like another great Cobra driving weekend, also good for the Snohomish Classic Car and Hot Rod Display on Sunday, hope to see some of you there.

Kevin,
I'm sure you'd be forgiven if you showed up without your Cobra.

Future owner
What's the attendance policy for future owners?
In the process of final research for an upcoming build but currently driving just a "not so cool car"

Cool but Not as Cool as a Cobra
Doug and Bruce, you guys are too funny.
I've got a couple cars to clean up for Sunday's display, but I do need a dose of Cobra side-pipes roar to pump up my re-assembly motivation, so I'll plan on it.
Can I bring anything to contribute to the get together?
Thanks,
Kevin
