Lake Havasu and their Run to the Sun
Gloria and I just got back from over 2 weeks in Lake Havasu. Found they have a car show that they call the "Run to the Sun". I guess their claim to the name pre-dates the "Run to the Sun" I have organized the last few years, since it was their 35th annual. Nuts. Oh well, I am going to keep using the name anyway.
We entered our Cobra in the car show. Had a lot of people stop buy wanting details on the the car. Good fun, plus they had a beer garden. There were a total of over 750 cars entered.
Weather was great in Havasu and they have a ton of car people in that town. Right now there are only 4 or 5 Cobras in the Havasu area. But we hope to grow the number on a more permanent basis in a few years. We did a run with a local Cobra Buddy, who we met a few years back here on the Forum.
Regarding the NW Run to the Sun, details will be coming right after the first of the years. The run will be in Mid June again this year.
