Sure looks good!

Actually it looks identical to mine! (except for the lack of wheels and stuff..)

Make sure it doesn't roll down that driveway! And don't put ALL your faith in the fore aft strength of the rear dollies

Hey Red,
What all did you have ERA do at the factory? My dad ordered one and just trying to compare, see if we want to change anything. Also, was ERA accurate on their delivery date? The car looks great.

ERA535

Thanks. Do you have a picture of your car? I would like to see it. What color Red?

Ikestta

Thanks. This is my second ERA. The first one I painted the body and frame. It took me a long time to prep the car and paint it. It was my first paint job and I took my time . I spent 2.5 years doing it in my spare time. But I enjoyed doing it. I wanted the experience of doing the whole car.

This time I did not have the time to do it (other projects - house/family). This one I had Tony paint it and hand the body mounted to the frame. it should be together in a few weeks . Much less work.

Both cars were later than the original date I was given. This one had a component from ERA and the painter. The car received a chip going back to ERA from the painter and had to go back and be repainted.
They are a great company and always come through. It is worth the wait.
When is your delivery date? Are you having the frame painted ?Body painted? Half of the fun is building the car. The other half is driving it. Have fun.

bigmike

15"? 16"? 17"? wheels. I decided to try and start a new fad 4". I think I may have to lower it though.

Red ERA,
Our delivery date is sometime late september or august. It's a ways off, but from what I have heard it will be more than worth it. Like you, my dad and I didn't want to mess around with prepping the body and painting it. Tony is going to do the paint (navy blue with black added). We are also having them powdercoat the chassis. Every minute we are closer than the last.

ERA #569

Thanks. I will post some more pictures as I make progress. Doing wiring now. I will have to look for cam specs . Don't recall at the moment. Do you have pictures ?

ERA 535

Looks very nice. Which tires are you running. They look great. I am not clear on the different ones. How do they handle? What is the rubber compound like? Sticky? soft? average? I'd post the pictures, Brent likes them too. TWO ERA'S?

Jerry2

I hope to see you again this summer. I hope PIR is on your calendar.

Ikestaa

Sounds nice. You will enjoy it. Especially working with your dad. My dad has helped on both of mine. He is now 75. He is the reason I got into cars and he loves the Cobra. It is a great hobby to share with your dad. ENJOY! Even the anticipation and waiting is fun but don't tell Peter or Bob(ERA).

Thumbs up Bet you are excited

Nice car, hope everything goes together where it's supposed to!
I am in Lacey, WA, and my West Coast turnkey is slated for delivery in April 2002. Look forward to meeting other cobra nuts in the NW, even if we fell from different trees (manufacturers)

Red face Pictures

Would a picture of me from arms length while driving , an *autopicture* be acceptable? I may not be out of the car to take any pictures for a while. Ditto for my babe. I can drop the film off at a drive thru processing stand....Does anyone have experience sleeping in a cobra? What suggestions can ya give me?
