Summer Cobra trip
Now is the time to start planning the annual NW Club Cobra road trip. Unfortunately I will be unable to plan/attend this year. We have a no open weekends after making all of our family camping trips and other obligations. So I am throwing it out there for someone to run with planning this years event. I will be glad to help answer any questions and be a resource if needed. I promise I will be back at it for 2017! Any takers?
Jake

I'm interested. My current project will be done this spring. I fondly reminisce about the day cruise you, I and Steve Bisson went on as well as several with Andy Teal. I sure miss those guys.

I’m interested in joining shorter day type trip(s) and/or local events this year to meet and get rolling. Need to learn and sort out things Cobra before longer trips.
I’d enjoy Hot August Nights sometime. Have family/friends in Reno-Sparks, yet may need another season before that.

Day trip would be fun. Hopefully the weather will soon change and then RTC will start on Saturdays and Griots will have some events also.

I have been thinking for some time now Jim, about putting together a Steve Bisson/Andy Teal Memorial Cobra Run to honor our fallen Brothers-in-Cobras. I'd like to go back to some of those twisty back roads that Andy took us on from Chehalis to Port Orchard that he knew so well. Steve, as you all know, was always ready to fire up his beloved Cobra and get out there. I've had the maps out and hope to have something soon.

I'm glad you have a map Ray. I was so lost on one of the trips Andy took me on I wasn't even sure I was still in Washington. He also had the knack of finding the only rain cloud on a cloudless day. Griot's next Saturday?

I know what you mean. There were a couple times where if I had gotten separated from the pack, I'd probably still be out there.
Griot's is a strong possibility, however my lady and I are off on Friday and we are thinking about gettin outta dodge for a couple days. Weather is showing only 20% chance of rain for Sat. I'll let ya know.
