Artist Point August 12

Hello to all, I am putting to gather a run up to Artist Point on Mt Baker.
We can meet in Acme on HWY 9 for the southern folks.
Gas and sandwiches to go at the Texaco. Then up the mountain for lunch.
Every one is welcome.
Details to follow when I know who and how many are coming.

Here is my plan, I am open to suggestions regarding changes.
At 10:00am we gather the north and south groups together at Everybody's Store on HWY 9 in Acme.(Everybody's Store: Fine Cheeses, Wines, Meats, & Gifts In Van Zandt, Washington) They have sandwiches and more. Then on to Kendal for those who need fuel this place also has sandwiches, used to be a Subway. From there up the mountain to Heather Meadows, there is a $5.00 forest service parking fee.
Picnic lunch at Heather Meadows, then up to Artist Point.
Looking forward to seeing every one.
