1st Meeting for 2002
Last year members of the NW Cobra Club got together early in the year at the Red Hook Brewery to kick the year off. As I recall the weather was good so folks brought the cars and Rich brought along a copy of the show listings in the NW area.
At the end of the year many of us got together at Alki Beach for the last time and it was proposed by a number of us that it would be fun to do more "drives" then car shows. I think Bish's successful drive and barbeque set the precedent. See thread http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/show...hreadid=12094. Between the thread referenced above, Bish’s planning for his what I hope will be an annual cruise and the list of shows, 2002 is going to be a great year. I’d like to propose getting together early again like we did last year to review all of the dates and start building up a calendar for the NW region. Besides – I think it will be fun to see everyone again after a real nasty winter. So let me propose Saturday, March 30th at the Red Hook Brewery in Woodinville again. Rain or shine… If this is not central to most members I think we are open to another location…. Comments? |

Sounds good to me, although I have promised to take the kids to Big White for Spring skiing so may have a conflict on this one. March 23rd works for sure! Will see what developes.

Woodinville is a good central location, but March 30 is out for me. Spring vacation begins for my youngest son on March 30 and we intend to head for the sun. March 23 would be great and lets hope for shine not rain. I took the "mean machine" out for a tune up cruise last Saturday with a friend. Summer is better.

Ive got the Outtas (Outta Town) that whole weekend. Yawl think of me as you sip a Pale Blonde Ale, and take a couple fotos we could load into our club page gallery on CC.

It's nice to be appreciated, I think! I can make March 16 or 17 without problem. April is pretty well booked at this point, taking the kids skiing at the first of the month and going to Cancun on the 20th for a week.

I just look like I should be retired! The Cancun trip is a 4 day sales conference to which I have added 3 days. The nice part is my S.O. works for the same company and also won the trip. No Cobras there, but there are other things.;) Will plan on seeing all on the 16th if that is the group decision. Bish |
