Z Bud...
Was coming back from a visit to JCF in Coos Bay to check progress on my car. Was driving the Grand Cherokee doing 80 on I-5 by Castle Rock when smokey nailed me...first ticket in 10 years. I know these things generally come in bunches so I'm determined to break the cycle by being extra careful. With the Cobra insurance situation what it currently is, don't want to risk getting cancelled.

Fred,
I've decided to try adjusting them first. Bish really has me scared. I mean...what if one or more of the oil pan's 3 drain plugs strips out when I'm changing the oil? Or...I break off a spark plug in the aluminum head or strip out the hole? I was going to have the carb adjusted...but it's just too risky.

Just when I had the wife convinced that it was a requirement to replace the rear tires yearly you guys go and let the cat out. What new excuse can I come up with next. I already told her by getting the Hoosier's for the track I could get at least an extra month on the street tires,of course I also needed new rims.

Drive Route Instructions
Zderf and all.
Yeah, I'll get together a packet for each car that will have all the pertinent poop in it. Latest route ideas, directions to the motels, Motel phone #s, Cell #s etc. BTW every one needs to have a selection of "good" road maps with them.
Gonna ask for a roll call of who is actually going in the near future, matter of fact that can start now. I need to know who is really going so I can put together a list for the packet that will have the cell# for each car and so I make enough and not too many packets. So check in guys.

I'm going along with Craig in a chase car, as long as I can pay for my poker debt with quarters. Some of them still are painted red. 'sides they got a dead white American President on one side. (hope we don't have anybody in the group named Washington, some guys are just a little too in to themselves)
Patti is going as long as the weather stays between 65 and 75.

Keith,
I can't believe "Spike the Motorcycle Mama" has set temperature parameters for participation. And I thought she was tough!
As for the quarters...see amendments to list describing acceptable currency...ie...quarters (red or otherwise)...NOT!
Your loving and faithful companion,
House

Enzo will be joining us.
Just heard from Neal Meldrum (Chase)#1. He and his wife will be bringing "Enzo" who will represent the K-9 world.
He has requested that he be chase to a respectable group. I told him, "Riiight Neal. We can do that "

Celestial Father,
To further mollify your trepidations regarding the pecuniary aspect of the poker tournament. Enzo the Collie will be providing added security in the form of full body sniffing, licking and if necessary, additional canine related physical contact, if you get my drift.

Our dog does that...we call it "hugging". Imagine a 140 lb love struck yak with a death grip around your waist. Needless to say, around our house if someone drops something it stays on the floor till the dog leaves the room.

Rich, did your dog learn this behavior in the federal penitentiary system? So I guess the 5 second rule on dropped food does not apply in the Lambert lodge. I'm going to stop now before I get banned from the website.

SB,
No, Bart hasn't done any hard time (so to speak). This all started one day at my sister's house when my nephew bent over to pick up a badminton birdie. Poor kid has never been the same. Bart really honed his hugging skills on a friend of mine's two sons. One of the kids thought it was great fun to tease the dog and the older boy is still in therapy.

Ah...so this must be where the terms "getting barted" or "bart you" or "bart a big one" all come from.
I'm really going to stop now.

We're so There
You can count on us being there. The amount we have spent on Cobra apparel and accessories is phenomenal; we have way too much invested now to not go.
Look forward to seeing you all at XXX Thursday morning by 10:30AM with loads of authentic US cash that I will promptly give away for more Cobra paraphernalia.
Kev and Di.
