You have no idea how many times I have used every one of those excuses and to no avail I always get the same reply. I even told the boy I was surprised you hadn't gotten back handed yet, but we were sure some one would be getting a butt chewin later that night. Yes it was fun and we need to find more of those roads.
I always tell the wife that posted corner speeds are for 1959 Edsels driven by a 90 year old man. Maybe we need to sit down and try and come up with some new excuses.
