Linda,
Here's the reply I received from the car corral guy:
"The car corral is absolutely full on Saturday. There is still room on
Sunday if you're interested."
Sorry...I hope you'll come to breakfast and/or meet up with us at the track.
Rich

I'm not going to make it to Issaqua that early.
Fred Hamilton, what are your plans? Is Mark coming?

Brent,
How goes the battle with your motor? Are you gonna make the Skagit Cruise, with or without the Cobra?

Bish, I should be able to make it (July 28th, right?). Well, the motor is running now, but I have little confidence in it, mainly because the builder seems to have little confidence in it. It's a great feeling after spending all that money to have the builder say that I shouldn't let it idle (FE, solid cam). Wish I would've known that I wouldn't be able to idle the damn thing before I spent a dime with them. Jayzus.
Details to come....

Brent,
As you say "Jayzus". What are you supposed to do at a stop light, race the engine? Zderf has an FE with a cam and he seems to do just fine. It's beyond me, but hopefully it will be ok. What kind of builder would bring that up after the fact?
Very much looking forward to seeing you on the 28th.

I dunno...Sherrie even said don't idle it for minutes, or is a stop light ok? He said he wouldn't let it idle at all. Ridiculous. I can't tell you how dissapointed I am in this deal, and I certainly feel burned and abused. It's a shop in Lynnwood.

Brent,
I read your PM with my jaw hanging open. Better get a bad ass attorney on that clown's butt asap. When this all washes through I think you should make it very public information as to who the guy is and what he did/didn't do. You should make him aware of CC and Hot rod. When you say the word, I'm sure all your friends here will be more than happy to spread the warning about this guy.

Brent,
So, is this don't let it idle for a specific length of time, or don't let idle ever? Never heard of that.

Brent
I was going to meet with the other folks but if you want to meet up some where just name the time and place and we will make sure you get there. I will check with Mark and find out his status, I know his car is up and running but I think he is headed east for the 4th. Let me know as to what you would like to do.

Rich....He didn't give a specific time, but I was certainly told to keep the rpm's up a bit at stop lights, etc... By the way, or there any more available spots on Saturday? I've got a guy down here in my neck of the woods that would like to go. He's got a beauty of a classic roadsters...
Fred....Don't let me keep you from meeting up with everyone else. Sherrie is going to be in a separate car that day anyway and following me. I can just meet you all there.

Brent,
I was told, in no uncertain terms, that the car corral is FULL on Saturday and no more tickets are available...sorry.

I'm still in for Saturday. I'll likely make the Issaquah breakfast also. It's been a while, look forward to seeing you all again.

Here
Gilman Blvd. across from the post office. Take the Front street exit, stay right. Turn right onto Gilman at the 1st light. Take a left at the next light. (about 1/2 mile)

No Idle
ERA535 (Gasboy!?),
I think I remember Brent posting that it was a side oiler.
Brent,
Did he just specify no idle during the inital break-in or did he say forever? This would maybe make sense during your initial break-in.
Mike
