Default Sherrie and I are tying the knot.....

....Most of you have asked at least once, and many of you have asked several times or more (Mark, you are the winner here ) when we were planning to get married, so for you guys, we decided to finally make it happen. We were feeling like we were letting you all down.

Well, September 7th is the day we say our vows, and while this won't be a big wedding, some of the best people we know drive Cobras here in the NW, so we are inviting you fine Cobra lovin' people.

If you'd like to attend:

1. Send me email with your mailing address.
2. No gifts. We're well taken care of, and we appreciate YOU, so it's not necessary to bring anything.
3. Get your cars ready for a trip to Olympia.

That's it. By the way, if you can't make it, don't sweat it at all, we'll see you all soon on the next drive, show, race, whatever.....See ya!

Congrats Brent--all the happiness in the world.

Why not post this in the main forums? Afraid of two or three hundred crazed Cobra nuts showing up and making noise in your quiet part of the planet? I know I would be.

Brent,

Do you two love birds need anything moderated yet?
You will! When and if you do, you know where to find me. I will rule in your favor everytime. It is a guy thing. Actually it is a Cobra thing.

Best of luck and continued happiness to both of you! As a 35 year veteran of marriage I am qualified to give advice if you ever need any.

Let's see, Gasholes have managed to stink up Provo, LasVegas, Ohio, and then the SAAC. by the time the wedding day comes, we would have left our mark at Beale AFB.

We have never been to a wedding before!!
What do you say guys, do you think we could make an appearance up in the firigid NW?

You forgot the upcoming U2 bash at Beale, and its still 2002...

In other words--we need very little for an excuse to commence a run. B.S. sounds good--get Pat to order t-shirts. That and the Gashole hats will certainly be appropriate dress.

Brent--tells us where you're honeymooning, and we'll serenade you guys with a mass Cobra rumble--much better than putting coins in the vibrating bed.

Brent & Sherrie, congratulations, but I have to tell you, you two really blew it!

My daughter is getting married in October, (yeee-haw, this deserves one BIG Chocolate Chip Cookie!) I tried my best to get her hitched at the Fling on Saturday, but she kindly refused.

Had "we" known you and Sherry were going to tie the knot, "we" the family would have insisted you got hitched on the Courthouse lawn in London! I mean think about it, hundreds and hundreds in attendance, couple of hundred plus Cobras, good "fast food", escorted parades, it would have been a perfect wedding!

Oh-well, congratulations again fella. Now bring that new bride to next years Fling so we can all meet her and welcome her to the rest of the Cobra family!

Hmmm, any bachelors out there thinking of tying the knot next June?????? Think about it! This could really be cool!

Congratulations Brent & Sherrie!

Brent - your priorities appear to be correct!

Sherrie - are you sure you realize what you're signing up for?

Best to both of you,

Default Time from CA to Olympia

Well let's see,

I did it twice in 13 hours from Sacramento to Snohomish (2 hrs north of Olympia) in a 2002 Explorer V-6, with a wife and 14 month old daughter (long pit stops), but cruising at 90 the rest of the time. Figure it should take the Gashole Gang about 10hrs, depending if there is any "GAS" shortages.

Be careful thru Rogue, OR - Damn near got nailed by one of Oregon's finest hidden in the median. Damn those Ford anti-lock brakes on the new Explorer sure work good! As do the seatbelts. Got slowed from 95 to 65 before he could nail me.

Great News Brent,

Congratulation to you and Sherrie from Pat and I, we wish you all the happiness a shared life can bring to two very deserving people.

You and Sherrie have a home away from home here at the Ripepi's any time you are in the area.

I'll wait to see if we can make the event, if Turk and the guys are planning a road trip for the nuptials I will try to hook up with them.

Best Regards,

Tony R.

Congrats to the two of you. Having just gotten married myself in November or December 2000 I can honestly say it has been the best thing I did. I wish you many years of enjoyment together and hope you have a blessed marraige.
