Talking The Great Snoqualmie Bacon Cheeseburger Run

Rather than running the glamorous "Open Winery Tour", Zderf & I opted for a more low key cruise to Smokey Joe's Tavern in Snoqualmie for the BEST bacon cheeseburgers in Western Washington and quite possibly anywhere else. If you go, I recommend the single rather than the 1 pound double burger. When we ordered doubles, the early afternoon drunk at the end of the bar almost fell off his stool describing how large the double is.

On the way to Snoqualmie we stopped at a friend of Fred's. This guy has one of the coolest garages I've ever seen. The contents were pretty awesome too...a perfect 356C Cab and a '72 911S to die for. If I can get a picture to show up you'll see the 2 Porsches and my Cobra in the slot normally reserved for a '46 Woody that's currently in the shop.

Nope...no picture

If this is the September 14th run. Then we are in. Course I've no idea what I'm going to be driving. After yesterday I'm running out of vehicles (that aren't Cobra's) to drive. Maybe I'll borrow one of the service trucks for that weekend. We could always use the advertising.

I screwed up the date. I was thinking of the Leavenworth Drive of Steve's, on the 14th.
Rich, when is this eat-in going to happen??

Hi Keith,

Sorry dude, that would be yesterday. I don't see any reason we couldn't go again though. I'm sure Zderf would love to go play on all the old locomotives again.
