Default SOVREN Guild Rally- Sept 14

This was sent to me yesterday. Here's all the info if anyone is interested in participating:

SOVREN Guild Rally
The SOVREN Guild will be sponsoring a rally on Saturday, September 14, 2002. Spend a few hours with us touring the South Puget Sound area, followed by a catered lunch with awards, door prizes, brags, and lies.

Why are we doing it?
All proceeds from this event will be donated to the Children’s Hospital Special Need, the new Patient Care Facility.

What are we planning?
A Gimmick Rally, using a “Jeopardy” theme. Signs and objects along the route will give you clues to answer questions in the route directions. Your responses will determine your score for the rally. The directions will be fairly explicit to avoid losing anyone along the way. This rally is planned as a pleasant drive, with emphasis on observational skills, rather than a serious time / speed / distance event. Traffic jams will not affect the results! Bring the kids along to help find some of the clues!

When and where it Be?
Meet at the old Southcenter Theater at 8:30 AM on September 14. Drool over the other cars for a while and purchase additional tickets for the prize drawings during lunch after the rally. The first car will depart at 9:00AM. Approximately two-hours later, we will meet at USA of Yesterday in Tacoma for lunch.

Who can play?
You and members of your car club, other car clubs, SOVREN, and SOVREN Guild are all invited to participate in the rally. Put as many people in your car as there are legal seats. More pairs of eyes improve your chances. To make sure we finish in a reasonable time, there is a limit of 50 cars for this event.

How much does it cost?
$20 per person, including a buffet lunch. Under 16, $15. 6 and under, free.
