Default Coming along...

Unfortunately, I've not had much time in the past few weeks to work on it. I'll have some new updates on the web in a few days.

The latest adventure was a cross-threaded damper bolt. I was going to replace the damper with a 4-bolt version so I can finish my pulley system. Low and behold, it wouldn't come out. ^#$%^& (That would never happen with a Chevy! Bish...) I should have everything back together in a week or two and then it's off to the dyno.

The fuel system is complete and the chassis ready for the engine. I need to work on the headers next. Hopefully I'll have the powertrain installed and running by mid-March. Video to follow! ETA for completion is late summer...

Default Closer...

The motor went in last night for the first time. I'll be working the headers and then pull it and dyno the beast. Hopefully it will be roadworthy by late summer...

Thumbs up

Wow, the rear end set-up looks fabulous Neal. Are your headers painted black ? If they are ,have you considered jet hot coating them? I ran my headers for a year then pulled them off and got them coated, now my gas foot doesn't get toasted any more.

Neal,

What brand or those wheels that you got on the 40? And where did you get them.

Default Getting there...

The headers need to be sectioned and collectors brought side by side and centered. They started life as a set of Schoenfeld stock car headers. A cheap and easy way to get started... I'll ceramic coat them once I've completed the work and dynoed the motor.

The wheels are PS Engineering 15" BRM pin-drives. PS uses Trigo pin drive adapters.

Kewl Neal,

Are you doing all the bendin', twistin' and weldin' on the headers? Looks like a bowl of steel spaghetti. Great job. Go man go.

Default Start Up!

Just a teaser video of the startup. It's only 4 seconds because the camera man had a twitchy finger when he saw the flames! This ain't no Chebby!
