Big Lake Bar and Grill, how to get there:
Take the College Way exit (#227) off of I-5 and head East about 4 miles where you will intersect HWY 9. Turn right (south) for about 3 miles and you will see it on your left. If you are coming up Hwy 9 from the South you will see it when you get to Big Lake. I will do my best to hold parking spots in front, but don't hold your breath!

Fred, I am with Ron.....drive the Vette. It would have to drive better than the U-Haul truck towing the Cobra on a dolly.

Bish, Is the plan still to meet at the Lowe's parking lot at 08:00? If so, the southern group will leave Shari's in Federal Way at 06:00 and meet up with the group at Lowe's. Can't wait.....

Bish , we would like to thank you for setting up such a fun location to go for the weekend. The weather, roads , and cobra folks were wonderful. What a sight to see 16 cobras rolling down the highway and watching the expressions on peoples faces.

Bish,
Nice going. Too bad the weather didn't live up to your potential!
What happened to you guys at the end of the day? Kelly and Jay were stuck with me trying to get them lost.
Good weekend with good friends. Nice to meet some new friends as well.

Ouch!
My ASS is so tired!
Arrived home at 11 pm last night......
Everything would have gone well except for the 6 mile long traffic jam at Tacoma. Four lanes down to two while they worked on the I-5 bridge.
Bish,
Great job, thanks for everything. Nice to meet up with everyone from the Seattle area and the great bunch from Canada.
How about that long tunnel in Vancouver on the way up! 16 fire breathing Snakes all at once! Or the underground parking garage at Whistler! I would have loved to got some video of that!
Pictures to follow.....
Mike

Mike, I think I am still light headed from the parking garage. It was music to my ears though!

That was fun!
Maybe we can do it again next year, but go for three days so we can have a day there to just goof off. That seemed to be the general opinion. Maybe we need to pick a Non Canadian holiday weekend next time which will reduce the traffic a bit! Hope every one made it home ok. I'm still having the whim whams about that steering gear thing. Man that was close.
See ya all soon.
Bish
P.S.
Sorry I had to jet out of there at noon, but I needed to get home soz I could get to SEA-TAC to pick up Lady Di who was returning from SFO. Mike and I went back via Sumas and HWY 9. Mike lost a bit of braking (Reservour leak) but we made home ok. You guys need to see his 80 foot motor home with 35 foot trailer. He does travel in style.

Need more pics!!!! Sounds like it was a blast!
Sherrie and I thought of just driving the Volvo, but on Friday afternoon, like I needed more bad luck, the car started emitting a really fould smell. As it turned out, the voltage regulator wasn't working and destroyed the battery, all 4 headlights, and wasted my weekend trying to get that damn thing back on the road (lots of fun getting that sucker out and finding a replacement/rebuild).
Anyway, I am sure my perpetual car sacrifice helped make your trip better!
MORE PICS!!!

Bish, THANK YOU for a wonderful weekend. It was great meeting everyone and the weather couldn't have been better. So there goes the gray weather cloud over your head. We went through the Lynden port and had very little waiting. Thanks again for a very fun weekend.

I have uploaded some pictures in my gallery. I guess I still don't understand how to do it. Seems I have doubled up on the numbering and I haven't a clue as to how to change them. So I have a lot more, but.......help Brent

What a Hoot!
Bish,
When did you take this one!
I wish I had a video of you showing that annoying kid in the Mustang what a Cobra sounded like while traveling 65+ mph down the freeway!
