Wow! What a day!
Zderf and I made our 3rd annual bacon cheeseburger run to Smoky Joe's in Snoqualmie today. Beautiful weather, not much traffic, and great burgers!
What a day...I hope everyone around here got some Cobra seat time today.
Sunburned in Seattle,
Rich

From the looks of the road I'll bet it was a great ride! Funny, I thought it ALWAYS rained in Washington!

There's a couple days each year that don't rain. Fred and Rich got one of them. It was an awesome day, and I got out in the Abarth a bit and did a little aluminum work on the Cobra. Hoping to catch up with Rich & Fred on the other sunny day this year.

Great Day!
Had the editor of NWautosports magazine (new periodical) come over for a photo shoot and a ride about town today. What a perfect day! He wants to do a segment on my Cobra, called "local supercars". I think it was the Nitrous tank that brought him over the edge.
He did not hold back on his requests, and I didn't dissapoint in a vacated parking lot. Nothing dangerous mind you, but he did say I was riding 3 wheels at one point in a sidways drift with smoke billowing from my spinnging rear tires. Can't wait to post some of the pics! The Cobra is running and driving so perfect right now, and I'm looking forward to a good summer of conservative cruising now that that's out of my system! I'll post some of the pics he took today as soon as I get copies.
This is a link to the magazine website. It's a must subscription for any local car enthusiast with a variety a automobile tastes.

My true love (other than my wife), is my baby girl Lauren, just to update you all, she is already 19 months old and saying about 50 words! Seems like I just announced her birth a month ago? See you guys at some point this Summer.

I went out to the friday night street legal drags at Mission raceway , finally a nice day ! Even the track announcer said it had rained 42 out of 45 days at the track. The nicer weather sure puts a grin on the ol' face !

Hey Todd,
Nice hear from you. Can't believe that Lauren is 19 months already, are you sure! Hope youwill be with us on some of the runs this summer.
Had to replace the Module in my distributor. When those things go haywire, they really go haywire. So had to do a lot of testing yesterday. Great day.

Petek,
Those guys in Washington are having the nice weather because all of that rain is in Northern Calif. now and has been for weeks. We had great weather in December and I was out driving. Now I can't get the car out of the garage before it starts raining again. And to think, I turned down a chance to work in Washington when I got out of the service because of the rain. I feel like I am in Alaska it has been dark and rainy for so long.

LOLOLOL, Ron you crack me up. Give it a few and we will be back under the NW "insulating" layer. Washington is so nice when it is "nice".
Just got back from a 2 hour shakedown cruise after replacing my worn out, rattling mufflers. So nice to hear the mellow tones instead of the rasp. I will admit that Chebbys never sound as cool as the blue oval crowd (big concession) but these new "packs" do sound so nice and I could swear the car runs better. Had to go almost all the way to deception pass to be sure , but I really think it runs better.
Now have to figure out if I want to do the Jet Hot thing again ($150) or try sand blasting and high temp paint. Think I will try the paint.

Hey Bish,
You have to check 'how' they clean the pipes if you get them jet hot coated. Some places dip them in a caustic cleaner solution to clean the inside also. When they do that they destroy the muffler packing. Sandblasting is good, just don't dip them to clean them.
