Post Shelby shop tour

Hi,
We had a good holiday in Vegas, 104 on the strip, nice change from here.Lost our lowly Canadian bucks to the flashing one armed bandits! and expanded the beltline at the buffets.
Bev and I toured the Shelby shop at Las Vegas Motorspeedway. Good tour, nice original 289 FIA converted to street specs. 427 fiberglass roller for $75 grand,$20 grand more for aluminum option, 427 fiberglass body-all made at the prison 50 miles away. There were 3 Shelby series 1's in the showroom, one with a vortec supercharger, not bad but expensive. They said it takes 6 weeks to build each one. Start at 140 grand and go up from there. ** the BEST was a daytona coupe 'replica' built by Mcclousky ? in California. It was in 4 vintage races, won 3 and broke in the 4th. Very NICE # 98 coupe. ** Apparently Shelby has commissioned 6 of the coupes to be built for vintage races, not legal for street, said to be worth 375,000 apiece. That's the latest report.
Perry. Don't want to be back to reallity yet!

Perry,

You are having too much fun again! C'mon down, bring your gorgeous wife and we will sample great beers and shoot the dangerous clay pigeons which are overcrowding my deck once again.

Bish
