Historics
Have fun, one of these years I'll join ya all down at the track for this. I almost made it last year, at least I bought the ticket.
Cheers!
Kevin

Hi Kevin, I take it you'll be up at the lake? We're having a party at the cabin on Friday, driving home (designated driver Mich) that night, and doing the Historics Saturday...too busy for a holiday!

Not This Time
Yes, doing the family thing on Friday trying not to blow off any body parts. Heading home Saturday afternoon to fly to LA early on Sunday morning. Doing some work, and visiting Dizzyland, Universal then heading to San Diego and Sea World. Quite busy as well.
One of these years I WILL make it to the historics. My boys should really enjoy the scene! How I'd get them both down there in a Cobra may be quite interesting. Hope you have great weather.
Say hi to Mich, see you all on the 16th. Man have I been busy working on the Cobra prepping for the journey. It's done other than a few minor things (like the horn) which will take another half-dozen/dozen hours to finish; with two whole days to do it from when I return from San Diego and leave on the ride. Sound familiar?

I wish I only had to worry about a horn to fix. The motor is still in Oregon, will go down on Tuesday to bring home. I will have a week to install fix any problems get some miles on it and still work 10 hr days.

It sounds like there might be an extra car corral ticket? If so I'd I'd like to buy it. My friend wants to drive my '77 308 down and I'd rather not park it in general parking.
Let me know what the possibilities are?

Thanks Brent,
I don't want to take a Cobra ticket if Karl needs it, after all this is Club Cobra. Either way, I'll be there with the Cobra and the 308. If the F-car has to park in general parking then that's were it will go, but just in case there is another, I'll have the money for two. See you all in the a.m.

Todd,
I went out for a couple hour cruise this afternoon and I was running like crap when I got home .I think I may be just fuel fouled but I dont know ,and will have to take a look in the morning. This could hang me up a bit , I at least doubt I can be there at 0900. Rich must live pretty close to me but I dont know where.
you asked first for the ticket, and I would hate to have my delay let the ticket go to waste.
KK

Brent had reserved all 3 days in the car corral and a 3 day pass for a passenger. I'll bring all the tickets with me...except for Friday's.

That sounds like one of those quotes you read in those books, only not nearly as intelligent. Oh crap, another one.
Rich, that is awefully kind my friend, although that was probably a lot of dough....Please let me pay some of it at least.

Nope. I unloaded one ticket on Saturday and gave the Sunday ticket to my son.
Put the $$ towards getting the big crap cake on the road again.
