Post Engine builder

I'm seriously considering buying a SPF Daytona coupe--
I want a SB, 289-302 preferably, or a 351W, something mild, I'm not looking for 500+hp--using Wayne Preseleys Weber FI look alike setup, mild cam, etc.--

Who would you recommend as a good, dependable engine builder in the Seattle/Kitsap area? That could build, dyno and install the engine and trans(Tremac)--

Also someone that wouldn't be charging and arm and aleg and my wife to complete it

Thanks

ps--one of these days I'm going to be able to meet up with some of you guys--any one going to Port Orchard rod meet this weekend?

Blood Enterprises is a very good Facility complete with dyno. www.bloodenterprises.com

Lots of mustang and cobra replica experience.

Another good place is Brads Custom Auto. In Lake City. Also with great mustang (302ci) experience. www.bradscustomauto.com

Both these facilities us DAVE BLISS to do all machine and ballance work. Dave Bliss is the man! Just ask anyone driving a ford on any NW race track.

I personally think that for reasonably built motors. you cannot beat a SVO ford crate motor. I am good pals with Craig Blood in Auburn and I've seen them insert many of them and the results are good. Not to mention it is not as time consuming as the typical engine build when done by the popular shops.

Hope that helps.
