What's Up Doc ?
Kinda quiet now that it's raining , so what are 'you 'planning to do to your ride over the next couple months?
I have new chrome Morroso valve covers to put on. Re-route the braided heater hoses to the underside of passenger fender, move my msd coil to the fender also. Took my 5 point harness back to Jager Safety to reweb it and re-certify it for another 2 year race season. Installed a new 3 position Lokar chrome hood support and took the old one out. Fixed the leak in my aluminum gas tank- big rock coming home from the Whistler run!
Neal?
Slab-man?
Fred?
Bev has the dog shows and Collie specialty next saturday.

Nuttin
I don't know about anyone else. Last I saw anyone was at Red Hook. I did hear from Sword, down in Oregon, but he's building another Cobra. I parked my yellow rain catcher, pending a let up in the monsoons. The wife is pestering me to drive up to BC, but it just ain't much fun, in the rain. She's never been and I keep telling her, it's a foreign country. Good thing my grandmother, who was Canadian, taught me the language;-)
I put my old ' 36 Chev panel in a consignment shop, today. Am continuing my quest for a decent ' 67-' 68 fastback Mustang.
I got stopped by the local County Mountie today. Seems he saw my tires spin on a rain soaked white stripe and thought he had some hot rod kid in a ' 66 Mustang, down and dirty. Told me to be careful on the wet streets and get my address changed, on my license. Sure, no problem! Good thing all 350 horses, did not jump out of there!
I need to find some more Land Cruiser, FJ45 parts, to help with the restoration, of my ' 78, which is in need of the work. I imagine, that's my next project. I'm thinking, a V-8 might be the thing, to stuff in it, as long as I'm tearing into it. I have a couple extra Windsor small blocks anyway. It's that, or get into the beer stash!

What I went through this last year I'm sure the Wife would find an OLD RUSTY KNIFE and after she got done I would have to squat to P. No projects just plan on doing the wax off wax on routine.

Perry...
That's "EX-slabman". From now on I guess I'm "CSX-1999...man" Anyway, the 100-4 is on it's way to bare metal prior to painting and interior refurb. Will replace auto with a 5-speed and may redo the rear suspension setup. I want to be road worthy by the start of tour season next May.

FALL .... WINTER
I'M GETTING MY HEADERS AND SIDEPIPES RECOATED. I SHOULD GET THE PIPES BACK THIS WEEK. RAISED MY MOTOR AND LOWER THE FRONT COILOVERS.
I HAVE A RETURN FITTING LEAK ON MY FUEL CELL. I NEED TO FIND OUT HOW TO REPAIR IT. GLUE, TAPE, EPOXY, ?????ITS ON THE TOP OF THE CELL AND ONLY LEAK WHEN I FILL THE TANK TO THE TOP.
I HAVE A HARD TOP TO COMPLETE AND PAINT SO I CAN DRIVE THIS WINTER.
ALSO I'M FINISHING THE INSIDE OF MY 30x50' SHOP. I HAVE LOTS TO DO. THE WINTER WILL BE TO SHORT!!

I sold my old 289 for a good price and am having a 351W built. I will move the motor mounts back 2 inches to put more weight on the rear tires. I will also go with the correct shifter & boot. Dolly is afraid I will kill myself with 500hp. Jay

Wow,
Lots of work for that new install, check your shorter drive shaft angles for bind, Jay.
More power is what we all want, no need to worry unless Dolly takes out more insurance on you

Perry...
I'm going with the factory racing team colors that were used on the 100-4 "S" models... white with navy blue side coves and navy blue interior, minilite style wheels rather than wires.

Walt,
I had the white with blue stripes way back when on a firebird, looked real sharp. Your matching blue interior should look great.
Any pics ?

JAY???
What you doing? Just as you get that whistle motor sorted out.. now your going to put an old Fred H motor in? YIKES!! Sounds like alot of work.
Too bad Fred's ole motor went to some other lucky owner.
Who bought your motor?
December 13th is getting close..... we'll be able to help the other Fred work on his car while drinking beer and sloshing foodstuff throughout his "monster garage"!!!
See you soon.
